Titan Products, LLC Accountant

Job Duties:

Responsible for all accounting for Titan Products, LLC. including:

• Accounts Receivable/Sales Orders
• Accounts Payable/Purchase Orders
• Enter daily production into the accounting system
• Maintain commission logs for payroll
• Prepare weekly payroll including 401k, hsa, & 941 payments
• Inventory accounting to include participating in month end physical inventory counts and reconciliation to accounting records
• Maintain Bill of Material recordkeeping within the accounting system for all products
• Add pictures of products to Bill of Materials screen as new items are created
• Preparation of monthly Sales Tax reports for multiple states & remittance of the tax due
• Work with Titan management to improve the daily recording of production and use of materials, as well as, sales of products to USS to help improve the inventory recordkeeping
• Biannual analysis of unit sales prices compared to unit costs
• Perform month end close procedures for GAAP financials
• Provide Titan management with requested financial information
• Other duties as assigned to assist in providing accurate and timely reports to management
• Other duties as assigned to assist in the overall production of the accounting department

Job Qualifications:

1. Four-year accounting degree from college or technical school required.
2. Two-years related experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3. Proficient In Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Meet).
4. Experience in Sage 100 accounting system is a plus, but not required.
5. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
8. Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
